The third quarter of 2025 showcased interesting trends for the top social applications on Android in South America. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of these apps, focusing on weekly downloads, revenue, and active user numbers.

TikTok Lite - Save Data & Fast saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 1.9M in mid-August. Despite a decline in revenue from around $3.2K at the start of July to under $50 by the end of September, the app maintained high user engagement, with active users rising steadily to about 35M by the quarter's end.

TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE demonstrated strong revenue performance, reaching nearly $980K in early September. Downloads remained consistent, with a slight peak of 1M in late July. Weekly active users remained robust, exceeding 165M towards the end of the quarter.

Instagram experienced a stable revenue pattern, averaging around $175K weekly. Downloads peaked in late July at over 1M, while active users remained consistently high, maintaining over 132M throughout the period.

Facebook showcased steady revenue, hovering around $75K weekly by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated slightly, with a peak of about 588K at the end of September. Active user numbers stayed stable, reaching approximately 106M by the quarter's close.

Instagram Lite saw increasing download numbers, peaking at over 610K in late August. Although revenue data was unavailable, active users showed an upward trend, reaching over 5.3M by the end of September.
